With the PADI Fish Identification Specialty, you learn to recognize fish and understand how they live and behave. The course is offered by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors and is ideal for divers who want to learn more about life underwater.
What does this course entail?
During the Fish Identification course, you will learn how to recognize and classify different fish species. You will work on, among other things:
Recognizing fish families and characteristics
Differences between shapes, patterns and colors
How to quickly identify fish during a dive
Observing the behavior and habitat of fish
The use of fish guides and identification tools
You are introduced to REEF.org , where you can log your observations.
The course combines theory with practical training dives , in which you actively observe and identify fish.

Conditions to start
