SSI Scooter / DPV Diving Specialty

With such a scooter, you can cover greater distances, consume less energy, and explore dive sites in a completely new way.

What does this course entail?
During the DPV course, you will learn how to use an underwater scooter safely and efficiently. You will work with, among other things:
Setting up and preparing a DPV
Correct starting, steering, and stopping techniques
Planning dives with a scooter and taking range and battery into account
Team diving with multiple DPVs
Procedures for malfunctions or releasing a scooter
Maintaining good trim and buoyancy during use
The course combines theory with practical training dives in which you extensively practice the use of the scooter.

Conditions to start
To start the SSI Scooter / DPV Diving Specialty , you must:
Be at least certified Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
