What does this course entail?
During the Dive Guide / Divemaster course, you develop both your diving skills and your underwater leadership. You will learn, among other things:
How to guide certified divers during fun dives
Planning, organizing, and leading dives
Give dive briefings and debriefings
Recognizing and preventing stress and problems in divers
Safely managing diving groups underwater and above water
Bringing your own diving skills to a professional level
Assisting with dive training and education

Conditions to start
To start the SSI Dive Guide / Divemaster course , you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Certified as an Advanced Adventurer / Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
Have completed the Stress & Rescue Diver course
Have a valid React Right (First Aid & CPR) certificate
Have at least 40 logged dives to start
Be medically fit to dive
To become certified as an SSI Divemaster , you must hold the SSI Science of Diving .
